Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser Delayed to 2022
The Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser, an all-immersive, two-night vacation experience has been delayed to 2022.
What does an "all-immersive, two night vacation experience" really mean?
Your adventure begins at the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser terminal at Walt Disney World, where you’ll gather with your fellow passengers before departing for your intergalactic destination. You’ll enter a Launch Pod as you make a hyperspace jump to a galaxy far, far away.
You can watch through the viewports as you approach the Halcyon Starcruiser, which will be your home for the next two nights. You can take a look at the Starcruiser for a limited time at Disney’s Hollywood Studios where a model of the ship on display inside Walt Disney Presents.
You’ll have the chance to train in the ways of the lightsaber, learn more about the inner workings of the Halcyon Starcruiser and even jump on a transport to the planet Batuu inside Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.
Speaking of lightsabers, Walt Disney Imagineering Research and Development has created an actual lightsaber!! Guests who stay at the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser will be the first to see it in action right before your eyes.
During your stay aboard the ship, you may interact with an group of characters both familiar and new. You can dine at the Crown of Corellia Dining Room, a hall that will offer breakfast and lunch before transitioning each evening into an extravagant multi-course menu of both otherworldly and familiar origins.
