Columbus Day weekend has been a busy one so far for Walt Disney World. Walt Disney World has extended the hours again for this holiday weekend for both Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom.
We were in Animal Kingdom today and at one point the wait for Na'vi River Journey was out of Pandora and backed to the Tree of Life. The wait for Flight of Passage was 120 minutes 20 minutes after the park's official opening. The crowds have been larger during this holiday weekend and Walt Disney World is responding with the extension of the operating hours for both Magic Kingdom & Animal Kingdom.
The opening hours for both Magic Kingdom Park and Animal Kingdom have been extended by one hour. Animal Kingdom will be opening at 7 AM and Magic Kingdom will be opening at 8 AM.
Don't forget that you need a Disney Park Pass reservation for theme park entry.
