Disney Parks, Experiences and Products Chairman Josh D’Amaro was joined by Walt Disney Animation Studios Chief Creative Officer Jennifer Lee and Imagineering Portfolio Creative Executive Chris Beatty for a special blue-sky brainstorm and revealed an early concept idea that a new land could exist behind Big Thunder Mountain!
A concept art was revealed showing a Coco and Encanto themed new area of the park! That's right Santa Cecilia could be right behind Big Thunder Mountain.
Beatty also revealed that a possible attraction where guests ride on the back of Pepita, an alebrijes, could be part of the land.
We really hope this concept art becomes a reality!
