We got a sneak peek of the new EPCOT fountain pylons that were installed earlier this week. The three acrylic pylons stand over 16 feet tall and weigh more than 4,000 pounds each!
Zach Ridley, Walt Disney World Site Portfolio Executive for Walt Disney Imagineering, shared an amazing video and photos of the installation project.
The pylons were digitally modeled and then milled and polished to achieve the reflection effect. The completed project will be revealed later this year.
