Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is Cancelled for 2020

Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is Cancelled for 2020

As Walt Disney World prepares for the reopening of the parks next month, they have made the decision to cancel Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. Due to the main hallmarks of the party - stage shows, parades and fireworks - being cancelled due to social distancing guidelines because of the COVID-19 pandemic, Disney World has made the difficult decision to cancel the party for 2020.

Additionally, Disney H2O Glow Nights, the nighttime special ticket event at Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon, will not take place for the remainder of 2020.

Guests who have already bought tickets to these events will be assisted with refunds over the coming weeks.

Walt Disney World will still be holding the popular Epcot International Food & Wine Festival, although it will be a modified festival, with even some Flower & Garden sprinkled in throughout Epcot.

A decision will be made about Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party and the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays as more information is provided from government and health officials.
