The new NBA Experience at Disney Springs is set to open August 12 but we now have a first look at the one-of-a-kind destination that makes you feel what it’s like to walk in the footsteps of NBA and WNBA champions.
The venue has 13 basketball-related activities including Dribble where you work on your ball-handling skills and Dunk! where everyone can slam dunk with an adjustable rim. The NBA Experience also has an Arcade where you can challenge your friends and family to get the high score in the classic Pop-A-Shot game. You can participate in these activities at you leisure and return to them throughout your visit to NBA Experience.
You can complete the optional registration once you’re inside which allows you to customize and personalize your experience by adding your own nickname and choosing your favorite NBA or WNBA team. Your team’s logo will be associated with you throughout your stay on various leaderboards and signage, and when you try the Shoot! activity, the court magically transforms to make it feel like you’re in your favorite team’s home arena!
The environment is completely immersive from the moment you walk into NBA Experience it feels like you are stepping onto center court of an arena, complete with huge overhead video monitors, pulsing music and swirling lights. Walt Disney Imagineering worked closely with the NBA to ensure NBA Experience is authentic. The hoops are regulation size and team and league logos are all over the venue.

Tickets are required and start at $34 plus tax.
Tickets and other entitlements are non-transferable, non-exchangeable, non-refundable, revocable and void if altered.
Tickets are valid for one-time access to the NBA Experience; re-entry on the same day is not permitted.
Proper attire, including shoes and shirts, must be worn at all times. Athletic shoes are recommended at the NBA Experience.
Guests under age 14 must be accompanied by a Guest age 14 or older to enter the NBA Experience.
Adults must sign a waiver when they arrive at the venue. A parent or guardian must sign a waiver for Guests younger than age 18.
