Walt Disney World Lowers Age Requirement for Face Masks

Walt Disney World Lowers Age Requirement for Face Masks

Walt Disney World originally had their face mask requirement for everyone 3 years and older. Walt Disney World has recently updated their "Know Before You Go" website to state: All Guests ages 2 and up—along with Cast Members—are required to wear face coverings when visiting Walt Disney World Resort. Please bring your own face coverings and wear them at all times, except when dining or swimming.

The new age requirement also applies to Disney Springs as their website has also been revised to reflect the new age requirement.

The face coverings must cover an individual's nose and mouth, fit snugly but comfortably against the side of their face, be secured with ties or ear loops and can be either disposable or reusable. Costume masks are prohibited from being worn.

Disney also states that the use of face covering is NOT a substitute for physical distancing.
