The Great Irish Hooley will be returning to Disney Springs this Labor Day Weekend for the seventh year in a row! This Irish festival celebrates Irish song, dance, food and drink from August 31 – September 3, 2018.
Irish Music
Expect traditional, Celt grass, folk, blues, rock and soul styles to be the focus on the Raglan Road stages. Nine total bands will take the spotlight, including this trio of headliners:
JigJam — The multi-award-winning Irish quartet will bring their captivating brand of “CeltGrass” blending traditional Irish music with Bluegrass and Americana. (Friday through Monday)
Lisa Canny – The talented Lisa Canny, 7-time All-Ireland champion on harp and banjo, blends pop and hip-hop with traditional Irish rhythms. (Saturday through Monday)
Billow Wood – Known as Flat Out when they played Raglan Road in 2016, this male/female four-piece band combines their unique sound of instrumentation with multi-vocals and harmonies for a blend of Irish and folk music.(Monday)
Irish Dancing
Champion Irish dancer Ciaran Keating, Raglan Road’s show choreographer, will host a workshop that goes back to the origins of Irish dance and ends with the contemporary times. The popular Raglan Road Irish Dancers will also perform throughout the festival.
Irish FoodDon't forget to celebrate the Irish cuisine, craft beers & new hand-crafted cocktails that take place during the festival.
