Chairman of Walt Disney Parks & Resorts Bob Chapek shared an update on the progress of the new Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge coming to Hollywood Studios and Disneyland. The update included a sneak peek at the unique Toydarian merchandise guests will find only in the new land.
Guests will visit the planet of Batuu when they enter Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. While in the remote outpost, guests will be able to explore street markets including one market run by a Toydarian. The Toydarian is a character first introduced in “Star Wars: The Phantom Menace.” He will be selling handcrafted toys made by local artisans, like those seen above.
I can't wait for 2019 when Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge opens at Disneyland and Hollywood Studios at Walt Disney World!
