I LOVE a margarita and to celebrate National Margarita Day here are the best places to get one at Walt Disney World!
#5 Pongu Pongu - Pandora – The World of Avatar at Disney’s Animal Kingdom
The Mo'ara Margarita has to make the list for atmosphere alone, as Pandora is amazing! The special margarita inspired by the Na’vi and the “bioluminescence” of the Valley of Mo’ara is infused with strawberry and blood orange flavors and is topped with strawberry boba balls and a glowing Unadelta Seed.
#4 - Dockside Margaritas - Disney Springs
Usually I love the seasonal special at Dockside Margaritas but I also like the Sunset Margarita with Don Julio Resposado Tequila, Cointreau, fresh lime juice, sweet-and-sour and orange juice. The stand also has more classic flavors including the strawberry or lime frozen margaritas.
#3 Boardwalk Joe's - Boardwalk
I love the Boardwalk area and I love margaritas so of course I love Boardwalk Joe's! I could sip on the Marvelous Watermelon Margarita, with Patrón Silver Tequila, watermelon, fresh lime juice and sweet-and-sour, and walk around the Boardwalk for hours!
#2 Choza de Margarita – Mexico - Epcot
The recently opened maragarita stand, Choza de Margarita, offers hand-blended and frozen margaritas. If it's a scorching day in the Florida heat you may want to opt for frozen margarita and here you can get a Wild Strawberry, Classic Lime, Passion Mango, or the Fiesta margarita, which combines all three flavors into one frozen drink! If you're feeling adventurous, the Guava Pink Peppercorn Margarita is delicious! This signature “On the Rocks” drink comes with Zignum Reposado, guava nectar, grapefruit liqueur, lime juice, Peychaud’s Bitters and pink peppercorns.
#1 La Cava del Tequila - Mexico Pavilion - Epcot
If you’re looking for a truly authentic margarita, then do not miss the Mexico Pavilion! Walk up those stairs and go inside the pyramid to La Cava del Tequila and order a wild passion fruit featuring Tequila Blanco, ginger liqueur, passion fruit & mango purée, fresh lime juice, mango foam, served on the rocks with a Tajín chili powder rim. I also love the blood orange margarita which includes tequila, orange liqueur, earthy sweet-tart mix of blood orange juice, wild berry foam. On the rocks with a Tajín chili powder on the rim.
How are you going to celebrate #nationalmargaritaday ?
