New Show Temporarily Replaces 'Beauty and The Beast: Live on Stage' at Hollywood Studios

Updated: Aug 3, 2020

On Sunday The Disney Society Orchestra and Friends temporarily replaced the 'Beauty and The Beast: Live on Stage' at Disney's Hollywood Studios.

The new show has an "orchestra," (a six piece band) on stage playing Disney and Pixar songs. At the end of the 20-minute show Beauty and the Beast characters come on stage for the infamous songs, "Be Our Guest" and "Beauty and the Beast."

The Disney Society Orchestra and Friends' showtimes are listed (subject to change):

  • 11:15 A.M.

  • 12:00 P.M.

  • 1:00 P.M.

  • 1:45 P.M.

  • 2:30 P.M.

  • 4:10 P.M.

  • 4:55 P.M.

  • 5:35 P.M.

  • 6:25 P.M.

The new temporary show is a result of the dispute between the actors' equity union and the Walt Disney Company who are currently in a stalemate in their discussions regarding the stage show employees returning to Walt Disney World. The Union shared a video earlier in the month that concludes with accusations that Disney has “locked performers out” and that Disney refuses to allow equity performers to wear face masks while on stage.
