Last weekend at D23's Destination D Event, Disney Parks, Experiences and Consumer Products Chairman Bob Chapek unveiled news of an all-new cinematic nighttime experience, “Wonderful World of Animation,” coming to Disney’s Hollywood Studios in May 2019. The new nighttime experience will be part of the Hollywood Studios' 30th Anniversary celebration. The show will use projection technology to show guests more than 90 years of Disney animation, all beginning with the main mouse, Mickey.
