We recently provided new details about the two reimagined dining locations coming to Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort. The former Shutters table-service restaurant will become Sebastian’s Bistro and the resort’s quick-service dining location, Centertown Market, will be expanded. Today, Disney released some new tasty details about the expansion of Centertown Market!
The reimagined Centertown Market will feature open shutters, wooden light posts, unique seating areas and a large palapa-like structure, accented with colorful light pendants made from glass bottles. The new menu at Centertown Market will include a combination of family-friendly fast casual offerings and customizable Latin and Caribbean-inspired dishes. Let's take a look!
One of the main features of the menu are the new Island Bowls available for breakfast and dinner. These bowls can be customized with your choice of base, protein, and sauce. If you're ordering the bowl for breakfast you can pick your choice of egg preparation.
Bases - red beans and rice (offered all day), home fries (for breakfast), and greens (for dinner)
Proteins - rotisserie beef, bacon, chorizo, or plant-based sausage for breakfast and rotisserie beef, pork shoulder, banana leaf-wrapped fish, jerk chicken thighs, or vegan chipotle seitan for dinner
Sauce - Breakfast includes salsa verde or pico de gallo, while the dinner sauces include chimichurri, garlic ranch, or spicy pink sauce.
That's over 30 different combinations between breakfast and dinner!
The breakfast menu includes classic dishes like Eggs Benedict or the All American Breakfast Platter with eggs, home fries, sausage, bacon, and toast. There's also island-inspired creations like Coconut Waffles with fresh fruit or the Banana Pancakes topped with granola and pineapple chunks and served with sausage and maple syrup. Yummy!
For dinner the menu includes salads, Sicilian-style pizza, pasta dishes, and a variety of sandwiches and burgers which should satisfy every hungry member of your family!
Now to my favorite part of any meal - dessert! Try the Tropical Tart with key lime, mango, and passion fruit curd with Chantilly or the Chocolate Crème Tart with chocolate cake, coffee Chantilly, and caramel crispies.
There's a lot of options for kids too including favorites, Pirate Mickey Waffles and French Toast for breakfast and Chicken Breast Nuggets, Tacos, and Grilled Cheese for dinner. If they are feeling a little more adventurous they can try new offerings like the Egg Popper for breakfast (a hard-boiled egg pop with green pirate juice, roasted pineapple, and bacon) and the Beef and Mushroom-blended Cheeseburger for dinner (with “cauli” fries, orange sauce), and a mini Island Bowl.
