Guests of Walt Disney World resorts were eligible to purchase tickets for the Disney After Hours Boo Bash event starting today and there have been multiple reports of issues when calling to purchase the tickets. Phone lines were so overwhelmed and multiple guests reported not being able to get through to a Disney representative. A lot of guests also reported that they would be speaking with a cast member and their call would drop. Frustrating was an understatement.
Was Disney not prepared or did they not anticipate that there would be such a demand for the event? Either way, we're hoping they figure it out by the time the tickets go on sale for the general public on June 15!
The “Disney After Hours Boo Bash” will be available on 23 select nights, starting August 10 and continuing through October 31 from 9 p.m. to midnight (Some event nights in August and September will be from 9:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m.)
Tickets start at $129 – $139, plus tax for August/September nights and $159 – $169, plus tax for October nights, and $199, plus tax for Halloween. Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club Members can take advantage of a $10 discount for event nights in August and September. Please remember, a limited number of tickets are available.
