Well the Genie is now out of the lamp and we are able to see the details and how to purchase the new Disney Genie+.
The Disney Genie+ is available to purchase for $15 and you can select arrival windows for Lightning Lane entrances to more than 40 attractions and entertainment across all 4 theme parks, one at a time throughout the day.
Update the My Disney Experience App
In order to see the new Disney Genie, Genie + and Individual Selections you need to update the My Disney Experience App to version 7.0 (as of today.)
To Access "My Tip Board and Day"
On the homepage next to "Today's Plans" there is a "My Day >" which you can click to bring you to your day.
Or you can press the plus button the bottom and then click "My Tip Board and Day"
How to Purchase
Once in the “My Day” tab you can scroll down to the bottom where is says “Take Your Day to the Next Level” in the purple highlighted area. Once you click on "Get Disney Genie+ Service" you’ll see an overview of Disney Genie+ service and then you can click on the purplish blue “Get Disney Genie+ Service”.
Please remember you can only purchase Disney Genie+ based on your ticket purchase
Before Your Visit: Available as an add-on to a ticket or vacation package for the duration of visit. Purchase via Disneyworld.com or authorized travel professionals.
Same Day of Visit: Available for single-day use for existing ticket holders or Annual Passholders. Purchase via Disney Genie service in the My Disney Experience app.
Confirm Party & Payment
From here you just confirm the guests that you would like to purchase Genie+ for and then enter your payment details.
When to Select Attractions
Once you have Disney Genie+ service, you can book the next available arrival window for your first experience via the My Disney Experience app beginning at 7:00 AM on the day of your visit.
Once you’ve redeemed your initial selection (or the arrival window has passed), you can make another selection using the app, up to park closing.
