A Foodie's Guide to Valentine’s Day at Disney Theme Parks


Valentine's Day is quickly approaching and it's time to celebrate love and what do I love - Disney food! At Disney Parks there are plenty of sweets to go around for Valentine’s Day at both the Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resorts. Here’s your foodie guide on where to find all the Valentine’s Day delicious treats.


Walt Disney World Resort:

Disney Springs:

Amorette’s Patisserie - special desserts can be ordered from Feb. 11-17. The first is a “Beauty and the Beast”-themed Rose Petit Honey Cake with Grand Marnier-soaked strawberries, rum roasted pineapple and honey Chantilly cream. I don't know if anything can sound more delicious! The second is a Strawberry Champagne Toast Dessert – strawberry mousse with a Champagne gelée Feuilletine crunch and strawberry pâté de fruit. You’ll can also find some hand-dipped chocolate strawberries.

The Ganachery:

Who doesn't love chocolate and this year, the chocolate shop is offering a delicious assortment of gourmet ganache squares and special desserts. They will be making Valentine’s Day-themed Chocolate Lollipops and Raspberry and Dark Chocolate Marshmallows. The gourmet ganache square flavor we look forward to is the Strawberries and Champagne featuring Cinderella’s Coach.

Magic Kingdom Park:

Main Street Bakery: As you walk down Main Street, stop in at the Main Street Bakery to order a special Valentine’s Day Cinnamon Roll from Feb. 11-17.

The Plaza Restaurant: If you make it past the bakery without satisfying your delicious treat craving you can try the chocolate-covered strawberry-inspired Milkshake of the Month at The Plaza Restaurant: a Strawberry and Chocolate Milkshake topped with whipped cream, chocolate drizzle, a strawberry and chocolate shavings.

Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Café: featuring hand-dipped white and dark chocolate strawberries!

Epcot:

Fountain View: will be offering a Valentine’s Day Chocolate Cupcake with strawberry white chocolate mousse, strawberry buttercream, chocolate ganache drips, disco dust, a chocolate heart ganache and strawberry crispy pearls from Feb. 11-17.

Sunshine Seasons: a heart-shaped Red Velvet Cake with strawberry mousse filling, chocolate pearls and edible flowers.


Disney’s Animal Kingdom:

Creature Comforts: Valentine's Day cupcake consisting of chocolate cake with strawberry buttercream topped with chocolate and strawberry crispy pearls, mini heart sprinkles and a chocolate-covered strawberry.


Disneyland Resort:

Various Outdoor Vending Locations: Cherry Vanilla Cotton Candy!

Various Candy Locations: Red Rose Cake Pop, a Pink Minnie Apple covered in caramel, chocolate and pink sugar, and Pink Chocolate Crispies and Cake Pops drizzled with red icing. Maybe you want to really indulge and go for February’s Gourmet Apple of the Month – the Black Forest Cherry Caramel apple with cherries, nuts and chocolate drizzle!

Disneyland Park:

Jolly Holiday Bakery Café: heart-shaped Strawberry Macarons

Blue Bayou Restaurant: Sweetheart Toast Sparkling Cider


Disney California Adventure:

Schmoozies: Chocolate Strawberry Smoothie

Clarabelle’s Hand Scooped Ice Cream: Valentine Sundae! This sundae has scoops of vanilla and strawberry ice cream and is topped with strawberry topping, a chocolate-dipped strawberry and pink peppermint whipped cream and comes in a hand-made waffle cup.
