Disney is already busy as crews work behind the scenes to prepare for the 2022 EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival that runs for a total of 125 days this year! This year's festival runs from March 2 to July 4 and will feature beautiful character topiaries, delicious outside kitchens and music!
We've learned that a new main entrance display will feature Goofy with a birthday cake to celebrate the Walt Disney World Resort 50th anniversary. There's also going to be some a new topiary including the Seven Dwarfs to accompany Snow White near the Germany pavilion in World Showcase. Some of our favorites are returning this year including Lumiere and Cogsworth topiaries in the France pavilion as well as Pumbaa and Timon topiaries near Imagination!
A new fragrant garden presented by Scentsy will debut on the bridge to World Showcase. There will be six scent stations—floral, fruity, citrus, spice, woods and fresh—all surrounded by butterfly topiaries.
The butterfly exhibit will return with live butterflies at Bambi’s Butterfly House.
The Garden Rocks Concert Series returns to the festival this year, featuring recognized artists on the America Gardens Theatre stage Friday through Monday and local bands on Tuesday through Thursday.
Artists recently added to the lineup include Gospel singer CeCe Winans and Tommy DeCarlo, singer of the band Boston. Returning favorites such as The Guess Who, Rick Springfield and Kool & The Gang, will also rock out on the Garden Rocks stage.
This year's festival will feature 18 Outdoor Kitchens serving up fresh menus, seasonal produce and refreshing beverages. EPCOT Farmers Feast will have menu options that rotate throughout the festival. Other new menu items can be found at The Citrus Blossom, Magnolia Terrace and Tangierine Café: Flavors of the Medina. A festival foodie guide is coming in late February!
This year there will be the Garden Graze, a food stroll highlighting five delicious sweet and savory offerings listed in the Festival Passport and if you complete the graze you receive a special treat!
To experience the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival, you must have both valid admission and a park reservation for EPCOT on the same date.
