It’s time for the Second Annual Disney Parks Moms Panel Awards! The prestigious awards are decided by the more than 150 current and former members of the Disney Parks Mom Panel. This week the awards presented were for Walt Disney World Resort. Disneyland and the Disney Cruise Line awards will be presented later in the year.
Category: Favorite Snack No questions asked, the winner of this award goes to the Dole Whip. Some fans love the Mickey Premium Bar, but that came in at a distant second. Other nominations included popcorn, churros and my favorite- the carrot cake cookie.
Category: Favorite Seasonal Event Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party has won the award for the second year in a row! Runners up included Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, Epcot International Food & Wine Festival and Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival.
Category: Favorite Disney Springs Activity A close race for this category but eventually dining squeezed by shopping this year to claim victory in the Disney Parks Moms Panel Awards for 2018.
Category: Favorite Attraction for Preschoolers Separated by only two votes, Peter Pan’s Flight was the winner. Second-place went to last year’s winner, “it’s a small world.”
