Disney Parks Dining Update: July 2019

Walt Disney World Resort has released their July dining update including the return of Le Cellier's famous prix fixe menu and new items including lobster sandwiches, Nigerian meat pies and plant-based burgers!

Le Cellier Brings Back Their Famous Prix Fixe Menu!

At Epcot, Le Cellier Steakhouse is offering the popular Summer Prix Fixe Menu again this year! At the Canada pavilion you can indulge in a delicious menu for $55 per person plus gratuity and tax (or for two Table Service Credits on the Disney Dining Plan). You have a choice of one appetizer, one entrée, and on dessert.

Appetizers include the famous Canadian Cheddar Cheese Soup or the Baby Iceberg Wedge Salad. Entrée options include the Le Cellier Steak Sandwich (with USDA Prime New York Strip Steak on toasted ciabatta served with Parmesan-truffle fries), the Le Cellier Surf and Turf Sandwich Combo (featuring a Canadian lobster roll sandwich and a Wagyu beef slider), and a plant-based option – Steamed Asian Style Dumplings (plant-based meat dumplings with bok choy, Chinese long beans, red peppers, radish, and Asian broth). For dessert you have the choice Maple Crème Brûlée or Duke Caboom’s Favorite Canadian Nanaimo (a chocolate coconut brownie with vanilla pastry cream, chocolate glaçage, maple meringue, and black raspberry-chocolate chip gelato). The Maple Crème Brûlée is the best Crème Brûlée I've had anywhere so I know what dessert I'm getting! This special menu will be available through August 28.

Walt Disney World Resort Wins Prestigious Food and Beverage Awards

Orlando magazine awarded the 2019 Critic’s Pick – Best Chef Award to Chef Tim Majoras at Flying Fish at Disney’s BoardWalk. Dining Critic Joseph Hayes says, “There are chefs who cook to a superb standard every day, and sometimes one who rises above it with a vision of what is possible.”

USA Today announced their 10Best Readers’ Choice Awards for Best Amusement Park Restaurants and Disney restaurants claimed 6 out of the top 10 spots! These restaurants have been voted best in the U.S. for their food, atmosphere, and service. A panel of industry experts partnered with 10Best editors to select the initial 20 nominees, and the top 10 winners were determined by popular vote.
