Disney and LATAM Airlines Group have unveiled a new, out-of-this-galaxy “Stormtrooper Plane” to celebrate the recent opening of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disney’s Hollywood Studios! The special edition Boeing 777 aircraft was revealed at a Star Wars-inspired event in São Paulo, Brazil. The “Stormtrooper Plane” was designed by Disney’s creative team in collaboration with Lucasfilm.
The special aircraft will fly from São Paulo to destinations including Orlando, Miami, Madrid, Frankfurt, Paris and London. The Star Wars art is not the only thing special about this plane! While in the air, passengers will be able to enjoy all 10 films of the Star Wars Collection on LATAM’s onboard entertainment platform, LATAM Play.
During the unveiling, a group of customers at LATAM’s Line Maintenance Center in São Paulo/Guarulhos were surprised with an all-inclusive trip to experience Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at the Walt Disney World Resort.
