Disney is asking guests who cannot wear an acceptable face covering at all times to reschedule their trip.

This new update to their website follows the recent addition of new signage asking guests to wear face coverings at all times or you will be asked to leave.

According to the Walt Disney World website:

"Acceptable face coverings must be worn over your nose and mouth at all times except in designated areas. If you’re unable to do this, please reschedule your Walt Disney World visit to a later time."

A face covering is required for all Guests (ages 2 and up) and Cast Members. You must bring your own face coverings and wear them at all times, except when dining or swimming. While guests are actively eating or drinking, the face covering may be removed but you should be stationary and maintain appropriate physical distancing.

All face coverings must:

  • Be made with at least 2 layers of breathable material

  • Fully cover the nose and mouth and secure under the chin

  • Fit snugly but comfortably against the side of the face

  • Be secured with ties or ear loops and allow the Guest to remain hands-free

Please note that neck gaiters, open-chin triangle bandanas and face coverings containing valves, mesh material or holes of any kind are not acceptable face coverings at Walt Disney World.
