D23: The Official Disney Fan Club announced new theme park events for 2018 including celebrating the 20th anniversary of Disney’s Animal Kingdom in April and the new Toy Story Land at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
Next November, D23 will have a special celebration at Disney's Contemporary Resort to celebrate the 90th Birthday of Mickey Mouse, titles Destination D: Happy Birthday Mickey Mouse. This two-day event will include panels, presentations, and a pop-up shop from Mickey's of Glendale.
Along with these exciting events, D23 will also have special member screenings of movies, lunch with a Disney legend, exclusive tours, and a trip to Marceline, Mo. the see Walt Disney's childhood home.
