Cinderella Castle at Magic Kingdom Park in Walt Disney World is getting a fairy godmother makeover to celebrate the 70th anniversary of Cinderella and to get ready for the 50th anniversary of Magic Kingdom Park in 2021.
Walt Disney Imagineering has shared the concept art for Cinderella Castle and the changes include a darker blue color for the turrets and some beautiful gold accents throughout the castle.

The work will start today and continue throughout Summer 2020. Of course, the show must always go on and therefore all the entertainment and nighttime spectaculars, including “Mickey’s Royal Friendship Faire” and “Happily Ever After”are still scheduled as usual.
