Have you ever wanted to build your very own droid that you can take home with you? Well now you can at the Droid Depot at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge!
First you select your choice of a BB-series or an R-series and then choose from a colorful variety of components to customize the droid that come on the coolest conveyor belt of droid parts! You then meet with a droid specialist who helps you put it together and activate it! then you’re in business!
One of the most amazing parts happened while we were wandering around Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, as the droid interacted with different buildings and areas. For example, we built a BB-8 version and while we were near the Resistance parts of Galaxy's Edge she or he (do we really know the gender of a droid?) would beep and move about.
Building a droid was one of our favorite parts of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge so make sure you swing by the Droid Depot and build your own droid during your next visit!
