Disney released a statement saying that Disney World Annual Pass sales will become available in time for the start of the 50th anniversary celebration! Walt Disney World Resort will be sharing additional information and details later this month!
Disney announced the next evolution of the Disneyland Resort Annual Pass program - Magic Key. The new program introduces choice, flexibility and different price points for park admission. We expect to see something similar to the Magic Key program just rolled out in Disneyland as part of the new Annual Pass sales for Walt Disney World.
Some items we think will be included with the new Walt Disney World Annual Pass sales:
Theme Park Reservation System - passholders will be able to hold a certain number of upcoming reservations (depending on the pass type).
Special Offers and Benefits - depending on the tier there will be a specific discount for merchandise and food & beverage.
All New Portal - just like the new Disneyland Magic Key portal coming to the Disneyland app we expect a new portal for Disney World Annual Passholders to come to the Disney World app.
Interactive Admission Calendar - an interactive admission calendar for pass type to view reservation availability and book theme park reservations.
