On February 13, the Visual Effects Society announced the winners of their annual awards, honoring outstanding visual effects in motion pictures, television and other media. Avatar Flight of Passage won the award for Outstanding Visual Effects in a Special Venue Project.
Avatar Flight of Passage, at Disney's Animal Kingdom, is a 3-D ride experience where guests get the change to ride the back of a banshee and soar over Pandora. The award is definitely well deserved!
