The American Adventure attraction which has been at the World Showcase at Epcot since the beginning brings together a moving stage, 35 Audio-Animatronics figures and a giant screen that shares the story of the United States of America. At the moment, the attraction is being refurbished as the Disney team installs a new screen and new speakers and then converts the attraction to an all-digital projection system.
Now, we are just learning that the update to the attraction will also include some new American icons from recent history including music composer John Williams, astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson and noted ballerina Misty Copeland.
