To celebrate Animal Kingdom's 20th Anniversary, Disney is having an extended "Party for the Planet" celebration April 22 - May 5, 2018.
The Party for the Planet will include:
Debut of the brand-new show, UP! A Great Bird Adventure featuring Russell and Dug from the Disney•Pixar animated comedy-adventure film “UP.”
A Special Welcome Celebration for the 20th Anniversary of Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park and Earth Day – a kick-off for Party for the Planet on April 22 in front of the Tree of Life - includes music, dancers and some of your favorite Disney Characters!
Special photo opportunities
Kids can earn a limited-edition badge as part of the Wilderness Explorer program
Six different Tiffins Talks - themed dinners hosted by animal experts at Tiffins full-service restaurant will be available to guests who want to learn more about the animals at the park
Rafiki’s Planet Watch Backstage Experiences ̶ Meet animal ambassadors, participate in unique mini-tours, learn about animal nutrition, visit the state-of-the-art veterinary hospital, learn how Disney promotes global wildlife conservation and much more!
Limited-edition merchandise will also be available for purchase - including a special-edition print created by renowned Walt Disney Imagineer Joe Rohde.
