Boy That Used His Vacation Money to Feed Hurricane Evacuees Surprised with Walt Disney World Trip

Six-year-old Jermaine Bell of Jacksonville, FL., spent more than a year saving money for a birthday trip to Walt Disney World Resort but when Hurricane Dorian approached the South Carolina coast, Jermaine’s plans changed in a big way.

Jermaine used his savings and bought hundreds of hot dogs, bags of chips and bottled water so he could feed hurricane evacuees free of charge while visiting his grandmother in South Carolina. Millions of people have been inspired by the story of this little boy’s selfless act of compassion and on September 8, Mickey Mouse and a group of Walt Disney World cast members surprised Jermaine with a VIP getaway to Walt Disney World!

Jermaine and his family will go on a dream vacation later this month and we can't wait to hear all about it!
