Overview:

Caribbean Beach Resort consists of 33 two-story buildings built around 45-acre Barefoot Bay Lake.  The resort is themed after a tropical island resort and has palm trees and lush beaches lined with hammocks throughout the grounds. The resort is separated into 6 villages and each village has their own pool, bus stop, beach & playground.   â€‹

Rooms:

The rooms at Caribbean Beach Resort are roughly 340 s.f. and most have two queen beds.  All rooms can accommodate 4 adults.  The resort also has specialty pirate-themed rooms as well.

Pools:

  • Fuentes del Morro Pool - Pirate themed, zero entry, 2 waterslides, kiddie pool nearby

  • Leisure Pools - located in each village, quitier than main pool

​

Need to Know

  • No elevators located throughout the resort

  • Table service restaurant, Shutters at Old Port Royale

  • Beaches are located at each village but NO swimming

Overview:

The Southwestern themed Coronado Springs Resort has over 1,900 rooms and is built around a 15-acre lake. Coronado Springs is â€‹separated into three villages: Casitas, Ranchos, & Cabanas.      â€‹

The rooms at Coronado Springs can accomodate 4 adults and are 315 s.f. (approx.)

Pools:

  • Dig Site Pool - Mayan ruins themed, built around a 50 foot Mayan Pyramid, has a 123 foot water slide

  • 3 Leisure Pools - a pool is located at each village 

​

Need to Know:

  • Convention Center at this location

  • Largest outdoor at Walt Disney World - can accomodate 22 people!

  • Expansive resort - the resort is very large and has their own internal shuttle system

  • Food court, Pepper Market, can seat over 400 people

Overview:

Fort Wilderness Resort is situated on 750 acres in a dense pine forest.  The resort has 409 cabins and 799 campsites.

Rooms:

Cabins - fully furnished, private, and can sleep 6 adults.  Each cabin has a patio, private bathroom, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave and 2 counter top burners.  

Campsites - 4 types of campsites can accommodate a tent to 45-foot or longer RVs.  Maximum of 10 guests at each site.  Each campsite includes water, cable TV, electrical hookups, picnic table, & charcoal grill.

Pools:

  • Meadow Swimmin' Pool - corkscrew water slide, kiddie pool, spa

  • Wilderness Swimmin' Pool - all ages, quiet pool, spa

Need to Know

  • Only pet-friendly resort on Disney property

  • 10-minute boat ride to Magic Kingdom

  • You can pre-order groceries to be delivered to your cabin

  • Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue - extremely popular all-you-can-eat buffet and stage show

Overview:

Port Orleans Riverside is themed after the bygone era of the bayou in the South.  Riverboat, plantation mansions, lodges and old mills are the theme at this romantic resort.  The resort is separated into two areas; Magnolia Bend based on plantation mansions and Alligator Bayou based on Southern rustic lodges.

Rooms:

Royal guest rooms were recently refurbished and include Tiana and other princess themed decor, including a fiber optic headboard.  The rooms at Port Orleans can accommodate 4 adults and are 315 s.f. (approx.)

Pools:

  • Ol' Man Island Pool Complex - 3.5 acres includes rushing waterfalls, 95 foot waterslide, kiddie pool, whirlpool, & pool bar

Need to Know

  • Table service restaurant - Boatwright's themed after a boat building offers cajun specialties

  • Laundry facilities are available

  • Bus service can be slow at this resort
