Overview:

A safari adventure awaits you while in the comfort of a deluxe resort.  The 6-story Animal Kingdom Lodge features three savannas filled with exotic wildlife, including zebras, gazelles, and giraffes, that you can see from your savanna-view room.  Although it may seem like you stepped into safari, you still have the high class amenities of a deluxe resort including signature dining, luxurious spa, & beautiful rooms.     â€‹

Rooms:

The standard rooms at the Animal Kingdom lodge are roughly 345 s.f. and the deluxe are approximately 380 s.f.  Room configurations can be requested and consist of 1 king bed and daybed, 2 queen beds, or 1 queen bed and bunk beds.

Pools:

  • Uzima Springs Pool - 11,000 s.f. tropical oasis facing a savanna

  • Samawati Springs Pool - zero entry pool includes a water playground, 128 ft. waterslide, & a lounge and bar

  • Animal Kingdom Lodge has some of the best unique dining on resort property including Jiko, Boma, Mara, & Sanaa

Overview:

A New England-styled resort brings you to the beaches of Nantucket, well in this case the best pool on Disney property - Stormalong Bay! The 576-room Beach Club, which borders Crescent Lake, is a short walk to Epcot and a short boat ride to Hollywood Studios.  The resort is connected to the Yacht Club and has easy access to the Boardwalk amenities & entertainment.

Rooms:

Most of the rooms at the Beach Club can accommodate 4 adults and are 380 s.f. (approx.) and have two queen beds and a daybed.

Pools:

  • Stormalong Bay - a beachside waterpark that is 3 acres of entertainment.  Includes a shipwreck replica with a 230 foot waterslide, a lazy river, 3 spas, children's play area and the best part - a sand-bottomed pool!

  • 3 Leisure Pools - throughout the Beach & Yacht Club complex

Overview:

Boardwalk Inn modeled after a turn of the century Atlantic City resort.  The Boardwalk Inn is much more than just a hotel as it has an entire boardwalk full of entertainment, food, and nightlife.  Located within walking distance to Epcot & Hollywood Studios, the Boardwalk Inn provides luxury and entertainment for all ages!

Rooms:

The 371 Deluxe rooms at the Boardwalk Inn are 371 s.f. and mot contain two queen beds and a daybed.  The standard view rooms overlook the resort or gardens/pool.  The water view rooms overlook the Boardwalk & Crescent Lake.

Pools:

  • Luna Park Pool - carnival-themed pool (also known as the scary clown pool), includes a 200 ft. slide, spa, & bar/lounge

  • Leisure Pools - 2 pools, one on the east side of the resort and one is south of the Luna Park Pool

Overview:

A short walk or monorail ride brings you straight to the Magic Kingdom!  The monorail actually goes through the middle of the resort! The A-frame, modern Contemporary Resort is located between Seven Seas Lagoon and Bay Lake and has two sections. 

  • The Tower which is 14 stories tall and has around 500 rooms and has views of Bay Lake or Magic Kingdom

  • The Garden Wing which has 250 rooms and is located farther from shopping & dining options

Rooms:

The rooms at the Contemporary Resort are some of the largest on Disney property at 395 s.f. (approx.) The rooms have either two queen beds and a daybed or a king-size bed and a daybed and can accommodate 5 people

Pools:

  • Feature Pool - heated, 17 foot high waterslide, water playground, ability to rent a poolside cabana
  • Bay Pool - quite pool for all ages located on Bay Lake

Need to Know:

  • California Grill is the table service restaurant located on the top floor of the tower.  When you eat here you actually get access to see the nightly fireworks!

  • The Electrical Water Pageant can be seen nightly

  • Chef Mickey's - the premier character dining breakfast option is located here

  • Marina available which allows access to many water experiences including tubing, fishing, & boating

Contemporary Resort

Overview:

The Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is the most lavish and most expensive resort on Disney property.  The sophisticated resort has a Victorian elegance theme throughout including a live orchestra, world class spa, and exquisite dining.  The resort spans 40 acres and along Seven Seas Lagoon and has 867 guest rooms.  The resort is home to Victoria & Albert's, Disney's award winning restaurant and Senses Spa which has multiple day spa treatments available.  The Grand Floridian is just a monorail or boat ride to Magic Kingdom and surrounding resorts including the Polynesian and Contemporary.

Rooms:
The standard rooms at the Grand Floridian are some of the largest on Disney property at 440 s.f. (approx.) and can sleep 5 people.  The dormer rooms are 3 feet smaller but have vaulted ceilings but only fit 4 people.  The Boca Chica building has the best views of Magic Kingdom.

Beach Pool - 111,261 gallon pool overlooking Seven Seas Lagoon features a 181 foot long waterslide, zero depth entry & the ability to rent a poolside cabana
Courtyard Pool - quite pool for all ages with zero depth entry and a maximum 5 foot depth

  • Victoria & Albert's, the table service restaurant, was ranked the #2 restaurant in the entire U.S.

  • The Electrical Water Pageant can be seen nightly

  • Nightly turndown service is complimentary

  • You cannot walk from this resort to Magic Kingdom

Overview:

A South Pacific island paradise with palm trees, white beaches, and tiki torches awaits you at the Polynesian Village Resort.  The 847 room resort sits on 39 acres next to the Seven Seas Lagoon and the Grand Floridian Resort & Spa.  The resort consists of 11 two or three story buildings referred to as longhouses.  The Polynesian is just a monorail or boat ride to Magic Kingdom and surrounding resorts.  Home to the interactive lounge, Trader Sam's Grog Grotto and the Spirit of Aloha Dinner luau show.

Rooms:

The standard rooms at the Polynesian are some of the largest on Disney property and range from 415 - 475 s.f. (approx.) The rooms have either two queen beds and a daybed or a king-size bed and a daybed and can accommodate 5 people.  Three views are available; standard, theme park & lagoon view.

  • Lava Pool - features a towering volcano, waterfalls, 142 foot long waterslide, & lounge/bar nearby
  • Oasis Pool - quite pool for all ages, ability to rent patios

  • Kona Cafe is located here and is home to the famous Tonga Toast - stuffed french toast

Wilderness Lodge

Overview:

The Wilderness Lodge is inspired by a grand National Park Lodge with an 80 foot tall stone fireplace, totem poles, nature trails and rocking chairs that overlook a babbling creek.  The seven-story lodge is considered a Magic Kingdom resort as the theme park is just a short boat or bus ride away.  The lodge features a 120 foot geyser that erupts on the hour, every hour from 7 am to 10 pm.

Rooms:
The standard rooms at the Wilderness Lodge are 340 s.f. (approx.) and a choice of three views are available.  The Standard View faces the parking lot, the Woods View faces the woods, and the Courtyard View looks over the lake or a pool.

Copper Creek Springs Pool - the babbling creek leads you to this heated pool with a 67 foot waterslide & children water play area 
Boulder Ridge Cove Pool - quite pool for all ages with zero depth entry and 6 shaded seating areas

  • Artist Point, Wilderness Lodge's table service restaurant, is one of the best dining venues on Disney property.  The restaurant features Pacific Northwest cuisine and an award winning wine list.

  • The Electrical Water Pageant can be seen nightly from the boat dock

  • You cannot walk from this resort to Magic Kingdom

  • Salon by the Springs provides the ultimate day of pampering

Wilderness Lodge

Overview:

Replicated after a New England waterside yacht club, the Yacht Club Resort, features nautical decor, plush furnishings and hardwood floors.  The stately 630 room resort is connected to the Beach Club Resort and shares the best pool on Disney property, Stormalong Bay.  The Yacht Club is within walking distance to Epcot and a short boat ride to Hollywood Studios.

The standard rooms at the Yacht Club are 380 s.f. (approx.) and most feature two queen beds and have a balcony.  Some rooms have a daybed and can accommodate 5 people.  Three views are available; standard, garden/woods & pool/lagoon view.

  • Bayside Marina available to reserve boats or fishing excursion

  • You can sit on the beach and watch the Epcot fireworks
