Electric Umbrella at Epcot to Close This Winter

As we have previously reported, there will be a large transformation taking place at Epcot including the park’s entrance and Disney has confirmed that the Electric Umbrella, a quick service restaurant, will be permanently closing this winter.

Disney's official response:

"As part of the exciting transformation of Epcot, Electric Umbrella is scheduled to close this winter. New dining options will be available in the future, featuring a variety of food and beverage selections."

The Electric Umbrella served classic fare including hamburgers, salads, nuggets and soft drinks and is located in Future World next to Mouse Gears.
